But there not cheap at all!Got my renewal season ticket application today and they are the same price as my old season ticket

The same as last year, but cheaper than a full paying adult which can sit there next year.

I didnt renew mine this season because i couldn't afford it, and a mateof mine doesnt go to withdean because he doesn't like it there! And he had a season ticket with me. Does that make him a tosser if he gets a season ticket at falmer?

You keep saying over £600 quid like that's how much you pay for YOURSELF!

Try getting 2 season tickets somewhere else in this division for less than that!

Well I'm not paying it so it's irrelevant really.

BTW I can get a kids season ticket at sheff weds for £50,that's what my brother in law paid for his boy and I think his was about £300. So you CAN get 2 for a lot less than that.

The club is trying to maximise revenue so it is logical from their point of view to move fans from one area into the new concessionary seating area. With another 1000 seats being installed at the eastern end will those people being moved have the choice of a better view than as present from the east stand? I think that from a long term point of view it's better to renew a season ticket and have a poorer view at Withdean and reap the benefit of at least picking where you want to sit at Falmer. I can foresee fans not renewing next season moaning in 3 years time when they are offered whats left after continuous STH have had first choice

Once I worked out that each ticket in a season ticket is the equal to the price of getting them seperately I decided to buy them as I go. It means I've been to most home games and when I can't go due to work or finances I'm not out of pocket.

Look at the capacity of Hillsborough compared to Withdean. They have cheap season tickets to bring in 20,000+ crowds and are competing against Sheff Utd for supporters.

It's cheaper to buy a season ticket than 23 seperate match tickets

Only by a very marginal amount and as I lose about 5 home games a year to work etc it is cheaper.

Sheffield Wednesday isn't a bad ground, holds quite alot of people and the prices are fair.Withdean is a dogs house, holds 7,200(we cant even sell that out),the prices are ridiculous and the loyal supporters are treated like dirt.Comparison solved!

I sat in the old away stand on saturday and i thought the view was great and better than the south stand.
The club is not doing this out of spite for fans there are reasons for everything.
I wish everyone would calm down and support the club.

Clearly. He suggests you calm down and support the club so he must be stupid. Good post.

Like I said to him,if you put yourself in my shoes, you would honestly not be able to say that you would not be pissed off/I just don't understand why the hell Perry would move the loyal fans so some ten year old kids can get a better view of a match that we have to watch in the worst possible area
