How can they do this.I've been a season ticket holder in the same seat for 5 odd years now and they want to move me to the old away stand with the worst possible view at Withdean? This is an outrage and I'm not renewing my season ticket.Martin Perry has got it TOTALLY wrong this time and it just shows that he's more worried about his pathetic 'under 10's accompanied by an over priced full paying adult for a quid' scheme than the truely loyal supporters.Anyone else not renewing theres because of this?

Shows no matter how loyal you are to this club they just walk over you!! :nono:

Wait until Falmer finally comes and see how they treat the loyal people that have got them there!!

Thats the trouble though. When we get Falmer they will sell all the season tickets in the best places to all the muppets who couldn't give a toss about coming to Withdean!

My dad and brother are not renewing because of this and I dont blame them, why should they be moved from a very good view right by the goal to one that is probably the shittest view in the whole ground?! It seems their only crime is getting a one year season ticket rather than a three year one, shocking plan by the club and i now know of 8 season tickets that arent being renewed because of this! Plan has well and truly backfired imho!:shootself

OK. I can understand peoples anger, but lets take a step back for a second. The new family stand will have by far the cheapest tickets available in the ground. The people taking advantage of this should therefore accept a slightly worse view as they are being subsidised by everyone else. Their old family stand seats will be available to anyone wishing to pay the full price and get a better view. The exception is those who bought 3 year tickets who can remain in the same seats until the 3 years is up.
If you take the emotion away that exists between a fan and his usual seat it actually makes a lot of sense.

I think everyone would just rather they kept the prices the same as they paid last year (or possibly a slight increase) and left them where they were!

Spot on... why should the cheapest seats be some of the best

If you want cheap concessionary seats you should be prepared to put up with a poorer view.

Why should they nesscessarly get a better view than me...a full adult paying season ticket holder ??

My boy said to me last night "don't renew them dad I don't want to sit in the new family stand because I won't be able to see anything".

I'd not previously told him we weren't renewing anyway but for that to come from an 11 year old especially when all his friends at school "support" Man Ure Chelski etc is not good.

He even said to me "why are they moving us? is it so they can make more money?".

I'm starting to think they've started to lose another young fan now :censored:

But surely the club HAS to try and make some more money...seems to me some people want it all ways.

Now I know you're on a wind up.

Tell you what YOU pay over £600 quid and YOU go and sit in there.

If and it's a big if this club wants kids to be interested they should have left things as they were.

I wonder how many kids, mine included, won't be going next season.

It's a tough one but the bottom line is the club has had to find a compromise between keeping the club solvent and providing affordable seating for families.

BTW. I don't think the view is that bad from that block and if it was bigger with more atmosphere i would probably choose to sit there.

How am i on a wind up...just stating this club needs to increase it's revenue.

If you want big concessions you get the worst views....it's the same all over the country

I understand why you are pissed off, but all the people who seem to be complaining are saying they weren't renewing anyway

What a load of crap that is!!!!!Its an awful view!I sat there once when we won the game against Darlington a few years back and you can't see the other goal! You can only see half the goal in front of you and there is no point to the stand whatsoever.I do not understand why Perry is moving the loyal fans seats to the crappest view at the theatre of trees to the worst one so that a bunch of under tens can start seeing the game better! It's absolutely disgraceful and I hope everyone writes to him to try and win back our seats! This is what will happen at Falmer too. They will sell the best seats to the people who never even saw Withdean, other than us real fans who won it for us!

PERRY YOU MUG,YOU BETTER CHANGE OUR SEATS BACK!!!!!!!!

END OF RANT

Funny I sat there for the Darlo game aswell. 2-0 Chippy and Zamora. I stand by my opinion that the view isnt bad and being behind a goal is always where I prefer to sit/stand.

Yes,Chippy and Zamora twice in two minutes! But the thing is,the stand is hardly behing the goal,it's more sideways onto the pitch,I'll put some pictures on here in a minute to show you how bad the view actually is from there. They aren't mine, they're Neale_Coopers_Barmy_Army's(aka Pikey)

You keep saying over £600 quid like that's how much you pay for YOURSELF!

Try getting 2 season tickets somewhere else in this division for less than that!
