sorry Tom but I think this is the 1st time I've ever disagreed with you. I don't choose to be a STH on a value-for-money basis otherwise I'd support Chelsea

Fair enough mate. But like doug's post above, when it gets to the stage when you have to HAGGLE with blokes in the pub before they reluctantly agree to take yout ticket off you, then you tend to attain a moment of clarity. Never was a STH at the Goldstone, or for the first few years at Withdean, so won't be unduly troubled by not renewing a year down the line. I'll just go down the club shop on a week-by-week basis and request my exact same seat.

I'm not renewing, but that doesn't mean i won't be going.I'll buy tickets on a match by match basis.I normally miss the festive games due to family commitments and you can't give tickets away these days, so i'll be better off by not renewing.

Yep renewed mine last week. A few crap perfromances at home won't put me off. Its that or trips to shopping malls on a saturday, no contest, bad football is still better than no football.

Renewed mine this morning.

Yes, we've had some shockers lately, but the Albion have a way of coming up with magic moments that make all the shit worthwhile.

They're my team, and I'd have it no other way :albion:

Tho there is a THIRD WAY. It's called buying tickets on a game-by-game basis. So when you're on holiday, you don't buy one. Or when you have to work on a saturday, you don't buy one. Or when you're booked to go to a wedding and the club change the fixture cos it clashes with some poxy rounders match, you don't buy one. It's no excuse to go shopping. There's no excuse for THAT :nono:

For some reason we get the results away, and they save the realy crap performances for the home games, the games that the club actually recieve revenue that they put into the club.

Imo, i understand why people don't want to renew with this is mind, and all this talk about 'real fans' is complete and utter bollocks. This season we had 5,000 STH & 23,000 Away Members. How many of these went to watch matches at home?
