Do you plan to renew?

I've been very disappointed with the fact we seem to have gone backwards this season. However, I do still look forward to going to the Amex and am intending to renew providing they don't increase them prices. I am planning to move seats from the East to the North to save a bit of money though.

At what point was there a rant against the club?

Rant might have been fractionally over the top but by comparing the Withdean matchday experience to Falmer and moaning about everything the club are doing (apart from the roof!) you are attacking the club and how it is run. I can only speak for the WSU concourse but I would be intrigued to know what changes you can make to ensure it doesn't get 'clogged up'. They could put some more shelves in length ways and possible more tvs covering different angles but even now it is infinitely better going to Falmer, having some food, a pint, decent toilets, a roof, proper club shop, opportunity to drink after the game in different stands. Everyone moans at the price but if they charged what you think is a fair price there will always be someone else who thinks it should be cheaper. And then you would both moan about the playing budget.

Well, at least they can't put ST prices up next season after that shambles of a transfer window...

They wouldn't dare, would they? ???

I've missed four home games because of family commitments this season. If prices go up, I'm out and will pick and choose games. You can't expect people to pay for steak and give them a sausage. Don't get me wrong, I like sausages and are quite happy with them. But if i'm going to get a sausage, then a sausage is all I expect to pay for.

Price freeze this season = price rise next.
Without a doubt there will be less renewals. I hope there are less renewals as I have my eye on 3 particular seats near me that I want to move to!
Obviously if we manage to get promoted then renewals will not reduce.

I think you'll find that most people will still come because it's a good day out. If we were still at the Withdean that would be a different matter.

Bet your arse on a price freeze - can see the club saying that will happen because of the transfer income too - of course had we spent loads last month, prices would go up - and the same bedwetters would still moan......

Anyone think that the free travel will be removed from the ST for next season. Home cup games haven't included it and i wonder if the club were using it as a gauge to see if they could scrap it next season and the transport system still work.

I can see a freeze in prices but without travel included or alternatively a small drop in prices without travel included making matchday tickets (perseptively) more affordable (but the day out more expensive inc travel).

I know quite a few who definitely won't be renewing. It's not necessarily the affect on squad quality from our club (at least) abiding with FFP, or that the ascendency of the team has stalled since Poyet screwed up the second leg of play off semi - it's practical stuff like the logistics of getting to and from the ground. Travelling by car, then park n ride buses, all taking big chunks out of a weekend or an entire evening, are not everyone's cup of tea.

I will be renewing, but we should remember that many of the 20,000+ at each home game, are fans with some passion for the Albion, but have had 22 years following their adopted ManU, LFC, Spurs and Arsenal on Sky, and more latterly you can add the financially doped Chelski and ManC. Easier and cheaper to follow them in TV.
