Will wear mask concourse if challenged although will be boozing.

Train will be a free for all I expect.

Not worried about it as not vulnerable and all vulnerable have been double jabbed.

My first hurdles have been a gig semi outdoors at a festival and a gig last weekend in a pub . . . well ventilated. I appreciate football is kind of outside but there are thousands of people in pretty close proximity and it still seems like a slightly unnecessary risk.

with 350k people infected there's a possibility of over 150 people being at the game carrying it. . . personally even though I'm double jabbed I just don't want it. neither do any of my family.

This is why I support the club in enforcing vaccination or LFT. Clearly, it doesn't eliminate the risk, but it does reduce it.

Going, but the logistics are a pain. I'm not getting on a sardine packed train and so will have to travel really early and have ages to kill. And coming back it's going to be a guessing game how long it takes the ever inefficient Southern Rail to push enough carriages through Falmer Station to thin the crowd out. A dilemma.

Am going and am having a few beers in Lewes before the game and probably some after. I will wear a mask on the train as we did going from Preston to Burnley last week but there were plenty that didn't. Equally, there will be plenty on the trains on Saturday that don't give a damn. Equally, the problem with Brighton is that there is a larger than usual percentage of unvaccinated adults which probably means there's a greater chance of crossing paths with some of them.

Not sure about the last statement really…693 people died of COVID last week alone!

As others have said, I will wear a mask on the P&R and the concourse but remove it in the outdoors of the stadium and by my seat. It will be the first time we have really been in queues, but hopefully everyone on the busses and in the queues will have been double jabbed

Going but will be avoiding the train as drunk fans potentially won't be considerate of others who are still a bit covid nervous.

I think the train might be our only option but am worried about this too, it's a shame southern couldn't make mask only carriages for those sensible enough to carry on wearing one.

Unless it's changed very recently you're supposed to wear a mask on all trains and concourses for Southern

Ditto Man City game

Very sad. Was even more important that fans were masked before/during/after the Man City game, as considerably fewer people had been vaccinated back then.

Nigh on impossible to social distance on a packed train from Falmer post footie though!

It's a shame that the Government don't still make mask wearing compulsory on public transport. No one enjoys wearing a mask, but the slight inconvenience is a minute price to pay.

So around 12% of STH are on hols/away/busy. (Around 2400 of 20,000 fans)

In total, around 17.5% aren’t going (around 3500) with some still undecided.

Young kids aren't voting, so potentially more. And, as we know, it's not cheap/easy to pass on a ticket this season.

A relatively sparse crowd may offer some reassurance for those worried about being packed in like sardines?

Did they die of it or with it?
