Now, forgive me for being pedantic, but that map is 34 years out of date.
I will have to be a pleb in Hampshire, but my daughter should be the Lady of South Yorkshire
Yep, I am Lord of it.
I lay claim to the ancient county of Buckinghamshire!
Coventry. So can I claim Warwickshire?

THE LORD OF WAR
Ok we have a Prince of Glamorgan, can I please be the Lord of Mid Glamorgan (And I'm not Welsh either)
Pedantry update ...
The map shows the Isle of Wight as part of Hampshire. I think this makes it a pre-1890 map.
So it's at least 118 years out of date.
As pedantry goes, that's a HOPELESS effort.
The map has Middlesex on it. And Middlesex was abolished in 1965. So the map is at least 43 years out of date.
But it does represent the World When God Created It.
That, my dear, is the TRUE map...none of your bolshevik nonsense
The Isle of Wight County Council came into existence in 1890. I think they shared their police force with Hampshire (and still do), but the island hasn't been part of Hampshire for a very long time. The Isle of Wight remained part of Hampshire for Administrative purposes until 31 March 1974, I believe
