Seen some shocking performances recently (Carlisle, Yeovil, today etc). But there is always the hope that it will get better. No reason why it cant be at Scunthorpe.

Already booked train tickets for the next 5 away games at Scunthorpe, Huddersfield, Bradford and Doncaster and a weekend in Manchester for Oldham (going to see the Pogues and the Saw Doctors on the Saturday night).

Seamed like a good idea to get them booked up nice and early to get the cheapest prices



Scunthorpe reasons for going

1) Already booked train tickets
2) We cant continue to lose (can we?)
3) ............help cant think of anymore!

Anyway roll on Scunthorpe on Saturday, cant wait, looking forward to revisting possibly the most boring place in the UK, and the pubs arent much better!

PS I was once fooled into spending a weekend at said holiday hellhole, and I can honestly say it was the most unpleasant place I've EVER stayed in my life. True story: after two nights, when we were packing up to leave, one of my mates said to another jokingly "make sure you check under the mattress for porn mags before you go".

So he did (jokingly, at least so he said), only to find a pair of grubby skidmarked pants that had obviously been there for about 6 months. And when I say skidmarked, it was more of an explosion than a quick skid. Great cleaning standards, Butlins.

Nothing to do with Scunthorpe REALLY, just sprung to mind as it's all the same in the North, innit
