PE teacher was called Schaverian or somesuch. He was ok, spotted me and 3 mates in a pub about 3 months after leaving and just smiled and tipped his glass at us.
The other PE teacher was a bloke called Wilcox, IIRC he was an ex rugby league pro and tough as old boots.
And Frankie Ingham

wilcox was a diamond , shav was kinda like a shifty soft porn filmstar never really got on with him much cant think why seeing as wew followed the same line of work

Wilcox still there in 1986 - he was the other :censored: who i got the cane from..

Memories of Fawcett,Des Moore,Rollingson the metal work teacher,"Clint" Eastwood the maths teacher,Ms Drinkwater a French teacher who was wicked with the edge of a ruler on your knuckles if you pissed her off in class and going down the deeside at lunchbreak,Happy times

Rollinson was the 'Career advisor' wasn't he ?
Didn't follow metalwork, but Mr Currie who did woodwork was potty - 'FILE IT DOWN BOY..!'

Mr Marsh, the weirdo who done chemistry.. eek.

My brother went to the Crimea ... where the teacher in charge got arrested for black market currency trading.

I went to Italy, where one of the teachers tried to communicate with the locals in Latin. And a Wigan accent.

We went to the Natural history museum in London in 1976 and got into a fight with 3 Millwall fans who were taking the piss because we all had Brighton scarfs on.
One of our lot got a slap under the Stegosaurus but we got them back round the back of the fozzil displays.(there was 16 of us) That was the last time we were allowed out with the school.

We always used to go to that poxy semen-t factory at Upper Beeding, the one persues or whatever his name is recommended for a stadium site. Has anyone seen it lately? It looks like Scooby Doo's house.

They really should demolish it. I go past it everyday.

Some of our students are off to La Fosca in Spain for 10 days all inclusive, £500. They get some watersports quals, so it kind of links on an educational basis.

I am taking the rest of the scrotes to the Brecons for a few days to show them how much fun Wales is when you can't be trusted to go to Spain...
