Looking at the footage, I'm guessing would Schelotto have been completely clear down the wing if he hadn't been cynically taken out at any cost?

That is a booking all day long
Even if he was trying to play the ball (which is debatable at best) that was still a booking. You miss the ball and wipe out the opponent like that, it's a booking.

Both Hughton and Dunk agreed it was accidental and the ref was fair.
:shrug:
Even if it was accidental, it was still a booking. Maybe they don't want Arsenal missing players when they're about to play our relegation rivals.

That was a diabolical challenge. How he never saw red is unbelievable. The **** even rushed over to Schelotto to have a pop at him before he realised he had knocked him unconscious

It was a red card. Reckless, careless, excessive force. There was no way, NO WAY, he was ever going to get the ball. I don't get why people are even arguing it.
