I agree with Salems lot as well for scary as in Horror scary. Child of rage is the only film I have seen that made me feel physically sick afterwards and anything like Schindlers list shows how terrible us humans can be which scares the bejesus out of me

"Children, come out to play" Lewes Odeon, watching through my fingers aged 8. I had f***ing nightmares.
When I was a bit older it was The Exorcist. Recently bought the DVD, absolute classic.
My fave line? "Do you know what she did? Your ****ing daughter!"
Sorry, but I just think it is one of the funniest things I've ever seen & heard, I think it's the voice.
