Sausages - what's your favourite flavour and types?

Venison and redcurrant from the butchers in Chiddingfold, Surrey or bacon and maple syrup from the Brighton Sausage Company. Had some donkey and camambert ones in France last year,aquired taste.:eek:

I bought some Elk sausages in Ely farmers' market about a month ago. Bloody hell, they were good.

Generally, pork and sage will do it for me just fine.

When I was t'lad, liver sausage was brown. For years now it's been pink, so I guess there's not much liver in it anymore.

What's your favourite flavour of yoghurt?
&
With the exception of mature Cheddar why is ALL conventional English cheese, dull, tasteless, bland plastic.

Oh and in answer to the original question - chorizo.

Fage - what gets me is everyone sells Greek style yogurt but not often the actual, far better, Greek stuff.
Icelandic style is the new trend, never seen the real stuff

But I do accept that filth is still preferable to Double Gloucester, Red Leicester et al.

So-called premium quality butcher's sausages are massively overrated.

Supermarket value range bangers are a fraction of the price and taste pretty much the same.

Icelandic yoghurt is proper shitehouse, whereas Yeo Valley lemon curd is the mutts.

Plain butchers sausages for me. Cooked on a bbq (burnt on outside, pink in the middle!) with an ice cold beer on a hot summers day...
