I’m not suggesting Dunk plays no part in the ‘non-goal’, but just consider his options when receives the pass from Cucurella. He is already being pressed by Salah, and Firmino, TAA and Oxlade-Chamberlain are closing down the simple passes the way Dunk was facing when he received the ball, forcing him into playing it to ‘go home’.

Traditionalists would’ve said Cucurella should’nt have played the ball back in towards goal, but that’s not the way our players are being asked to play anymore.

No one player at fault. It is something that will happen from time to time in the way we play.

Thanks for posting and, to add, Potter will take responsibility for the errors that result from the way he encourages the team to play, and will identify the players when things go well.
