It would certainly be a (hard rock) Hallelujah from me if we signed him.

Seeing as I haven't read all 29 pages, can anyone let me know if the pronunciation of his surname has been agreed, for song purposes?

Is it 'Hyypia' rhyming with 'chippier'?
'Hyppia' rhyming with 'loopier'?
'Hyppia' rhyming with 'pipier'?

I'll stick with 'Sami'. Rhymes with 'flamey'.

It nearly rhymes with fanny, I'm sure there's a chant there somewhere.

As someone who mistakenly composed a song for Lewis Grabban, I'm staying well away until any new manager is confirmed, pictured at The Amex with an Albion shirt, has beaten Calde at pool and sunk a pint of Harveys in Dick's.

Brighton factually.....
:lolol: It was before he actually took charge of any games.

Oh you mean before he actually turned up and saw what he had to work with then, and then after seeing the injury list and players in training thought bollox from here on in Nathan can do the talking.

Not sure how I'd feel about this, doesn't seem to be an attack minded manager but could see us bring in a fair few new players.

Let's see what happens.

Style - Cannot always tell by their former playing position:

Poyet was a marauding attacking midfielder operating at pace, but in our Championship-Poyet years we prioritised possession about the back and it was generally quite slow.
Dean Wilkins was a cultured midfielder, but I thought our playing style under him was staid and far from cultured in the main.

To think when I first saw the thread I thought we'd signed an ageing central defender..

Who would still be quicker and read the game better than GG? :)
