Not sure what you're point is. It seems we want him, reading wanted more than we were seemingly willing to pay and he's now handed in a transfer request. If the haddock transfer eases the other over the line all well and good.

So if/when Baldock signs for Reading where does that leave us on the HGP front? I've completely lost track with all the comings and goings this summer?

Oliver N is 8th HGP, unless we sign one...

No one has reported that or indicated they have spotted him at Lancing.... ....yet.

More chance of spotting him coming out of the private hospital at the bottom of Montefiore Road. That's where all the wise signing stalkers will hang out from now on.

I wish Sam the best, but can't help but wish he was going to ANY other Championship Club than Reading.

I have an unhealthy hatred for that cess pit of a club. Even with Sam in their ranks I can't help for anything except despair and harrowing pain for anyone associated with Reading FC.
I share the sentiment but at least it's not Wednesday [emoji23]. That would really make me feel sick.

That looks pretty conclusive, I agree. Why we didn’t hold off on Sam B’s sale to tie in with extracating Mr Moore I just don’t know...

Baldock for me was a hard-working, injury prone non-goalscoring striker for us.....Yes , likable, but will I miss him ....No !.....Sorry .....

Good point. It’s just that Sam B was a key bargaining chip for us to play... I hope we have..,

Sam seriously cannot be to happy about this.

Successful pro sports and managers, in the main, seem positive people. At least about their trade. Realists too.

This is normal football business. Perhaps SB is looking forward to playing as a regular starter, something he’s rarely managed for so much of his career.
