Buyer unlikely ! big problems for saints.
Surely they couldn't suddenly cease to exist - what would happen to the lovely new stadium of theirs?
I thought Le Tissier was heading up a consortium to take control?
There is NO WAY that Southampton will not find a buyer...imo
Expect some brinksmanship

Yah? Whys that? In huge debt, with a poor side, in a poor league + probably more shit behind the scenes that the general public don't know about. It's really not a good investment..
I have no inside knowledge, I just know that no club the size of Saints with a decent stadium has ever folded. For 30 years now we've heard about big teams about to disappear, it never happens though, it's just he tiddlers who go.
Somebody/consortium is probably gonna get it for a song but the potential is too big for the club to be allowed to fold..imo.
Yeah it probably will happen to a big club one day but I do not see any way that Saints are gonna fold and I expect to be taking my seat in St Mary's next season as we turn them over
Even with a massive debt the stadium is an asset - can't they remortgage ?
Do they own it ? I feel sorry for their creditors as it's not much use for anything else.
The thing that bothers me (and I'm sure, many others) is the fact that so many clubs have hit huge financial problems after building a new Stadium. Darlington clearly built a stadium far too big for the job but Saints, Derby, Leicester and Coventry have all had huge problems and let's face a fact, they are all bigger clubs than us (at present anyway).
