Why anyone would buy a card in a shop with someone else's concocted words in it is beyond my comprehension - Valentine's cards should be handmade (and therefore meaningful to the recipient). None of this printed Hallmark bollox or Clinton Cards crud.

To be honest, our trip was more to do with the fact that its half term (the mrs is a teacher). Was going to go away next weekend, but then I had a meeting get arranged for the friday, so this weekend it was...

I'm off to Redhill tonight for a charity comedy gig at the cottage. Lucy Porter is headlining, and anyone on here who knows my bf will know how excited he is about that!!!

Tomorrow we are off to Pompey, cinema on the way down to see Bolt 3D which I am very excited about, then staying overnight in hotel with special Valentines Day menu in the restaurant tomorrow evening. Sunday we will go to Spinnaker Tower, where I will be brave and walk over the glass floor while he cowers in the corner haha. Lunch at Gunwharf then a mooch around the shops before returning home

Daughter and ı will paint a valentines card in the morning (more for my daughters benefit) and then in the evening quiet dinner and go to the cinema WITHOUT my daughter.... best prezzie I can give my wife at the mo.
