Sorry, I meant what would be the capacity of the SS section. For some reason I had it in my head there were 28 rows in the North so they'd be something like 10-12 rows for SS?

The article - when it was up - said that 80% of supporters at the back of the north stand voted for safe standing and if anyone in that area wants to move away from the new safe standing area then there will be a priority window for them to do so in March. I guess that means that anyone who wants to then move to the new safe standing area can do so after that. It is then possible that they will try to enforce no standing in the front of the north maybe?

I wouldn't have thought there would be any difference in capacity in the SS section compared to what it was before. Those Safe standing sections around the country don't have the 'lockable' fold up seats. If they did, the theory is that it is 3 safe standing for two seats. As they don't lock, it will be 1 for 1.

A quick calculation shows that there will be in the region of 2,200 seats in the north being changed to safe standing.

Including row R it will be ten rows, back row in the north is row AA

Club website says it will improve the atmosphere with standing. Do they not know that everyone stands anyway , so no difference!

"The club will install safe standing in part of the North Stand in time for the 2025/26 season, after a detailed consultation process with our season-ticket holders.
More than 80% of season ticket holders, who are seated at the back of the north stand, were in favour of safe standing and this will be installed from row R backwards.
Season-ticket holders who are currently seated in the new safe standing area but who wish to move will be offered a priority move window next March, after season-ticket renewals. The date for this window will be announced in late January.
Fans will also be able to come to the Amex and see a small section of rail seating in place. Details of this will be released shortly.
The North Stand seats affected are: Block N1A to N1H, row R upwards, seats 13-241.
Block N1A, seats 1-13 will not have safe standing installed, nor will N1H from seat 243 upwards and none of Block N1I.
For fans who currently sit in those areas, safe standing does not mean seats will be removed, but a rail will be installed in front of the seat, and those in that area will be required to remain in their allocated place. everyone stands (apart from very front row) anyway and the rails will DECREASE the space on the terracing so am I missing something, how will it become SAFER than what it already is?

Something Im not sure has been considered will it increase standing elsewhere i.e. nearby lower seated areas or reinforce seating because if you wanna stand you have a dedicated area?

very good point that needs fully to be discussed will there be an expectation of the rows nearby not designated to now sit? Will club impose this? or will nothing changes and everyone stands as of now?

Sorry if fixtures, but will safe standing still require you to stand in a designated "seat area"? In other words, you can't move around from week to week in different places as you used to be able to on the terraces.

Bournemouth, Man Utd, West Ham, Chelsea all have rail seating. So not sure why.!

Maybe those are slightly different, in the original email they said ours would be identical to Brentfords so would be a bit weird to show something we are not having
