Don't think I'd want to be anywhere near that when it melts.
It might be a metaphor for Russia.

After decades of stealing public money, wasting the rest on needless wars, funding division and unrest abroad, oppressing Russians, killing Ukrainians, imprisoning dissenting voices, weaponising a wealth of natural resources, committing cyber attacks, cutting undersea cables, destroying the economy, reducing the ruble to a worthless, dead currency and now importing crippling inflation, the utter shit that was previously hidden to the Russians, is now rising to the surface.

And there's no money to fix it, and no staff to fix it either, as they're all dead, either incinerated, or left to fertilise the fields of Ukraine.

I learned something from a recent Jake Broe video (I always do).
The recent news of Ukraine destroying/damaging Russian controlled gas platforms in the Black Sea: Ukraine used drone combos for these attacks! Basically they send a sea drone (as they've used before) and the Russians can see these coming and get ready with their machine gun fire etc to disable them. BUT, each sea drone carries an armed FPV quadcopter drone. On nearing the target the quadcopter is activated, and hovers over the gas platform to drop it's explosives. Russia was unable to counteract this.
Ukrainian ingenuity👍.

I don't know if this was posted before, but it's excellent from Jake Broe. An enormous effort from him to create historical perspective 👍👍.

Maybe this video should be sent to Corbyn & his fellow agitators who keep saying it's all NATOs fault so in the end many of us believed them. What will happen to Georgia as the people try & force their government to proceed with their application to join the EU & probably NATO. Oh I forgot that is all the fault of Western influence & money, Russia can never be wrong.

I will always find it hilarious that Russia's paranoia about Nato expansion, led to Sweden and Finland joining Nato. In the case of Sweden, it reversed over 200 years of neutrality to do it as well. Top Putining !

I do worry for the citizens of Georgia. It could go either way: resounding success for them, or a heavy handed crack down from the pro Russian leaders and the Russian military.

I saw a video from Prof.

He's got a point, hasn't he?

And it would be fitting and poetic, as the war hopefully draws to a close, to provide an 'iron dome' over Ukraine, financed with Russia's confiscated wealth fund.
He has a very good point.
His direct approach for requests/demands is great: This is what we need, and this will be the benefit.

Time for a feelgood post.

Here's a frozen river of shit in Russia. Enjoy.

“Southern Water apologised for the incident and stated they’re investing up to £7.50 on fixing their sewage network.”

You believed Putin and Corbyn?
I never have but when you saw all his supporters at a rally he held in the early days of the war it was obvious many did. When I said 'us' I was referring to the general population. I wouldn't ever believe a word which comes out of Putin’s mouth and anything Corbyn says with a very large pinch of salt.

Yesterday's digest from Jake Broe.

It includes a hard watch about the Sednaya prison, including an alleged 100,000 people still trapped underground.
He also covers Russian destabilisation in Africa, Venezuela etc, promoting refugee crises around the world.

An interesting takeaway:

'Putin's closest ally in the Middle East was just ousted. Purin did not "escalate" to try to save him. He didn't use a nuclear weapon. He didn't even fight.
He just retreated'.
