But if I recall correctly, which I normally do, Rainbow preceded it on a lunchtime on ITV as a kid, so it was case of a case of the rough following the smooth. Had Mrs Mangel in it who ended up in your part of the world too I recall.

I read earlier that if NATO get involved now it helps him domestically to justify the war because he can spin it as him being right all along, NATO wants to attack Russia.

He may do, but he seems to be trying hard to be able to blame others for it. If he just wanted it to all Kick off he could have rolled into Lithuania. That suggests he is concerned to some extent about having others on side, which if you just felt like burning everything, wouldn't really matter.

I think he just wants Ukraine in his pocket, and is a bit tetchy cos it isn't as easy as he thought, we have given Ukraine anti tank missiles they have been making good use of, the sanctions are biting and he is nervous that more help for Ukraine is on it's way.

He is getting Ukaine before they become part of NATO, next will be one of the recent NATO nations. He is banking on us not wanting a WWIII. My guess would be Poland next because that would cut off Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and will start with interferance with their elections and leaders as they did in Ukraine.

It's Poland. Kaliningrad being threatened and the majority of whatever arms being shipped to Ukraine to kill 'Russian peacekeepers' will pass through there, so he'll dress it up as something like that.

my view this accelerates his demise and the end. when people learn supposed elite VDV and badass Chechan units have failed, its not going to look good. the army arent suddenly going to find a surge of morale or fix their poor logistics.
