It’s given Europe the impetus to break free from US ‘support’. The irony is that it will make Europe stronger and the US weaker. It will certainly ween ‘us’ off US defence companies. The likes of Boeing, Lockheed-Martin and general dynamics, to name a few, will be watching their bottom line shrink. For them to all to survive they need European markets …
And remember all the issues with Boeing's commercial aircraft - Airbus has taken chunks out of them I believe.

BAE will be rubbing their hands as will Airbus, who were already making big inroads into Boeing’s aircraft figures. Airbus are world leaders already I believe?

So, “Europe” just need to backfill the kit and technology to the Ukrainians that the US is not going to supply going forward. The Ukrainians won’t need boots of “European” militaries on the ground.

You’re confident the European military industrial capacity can do this?

Presumably, this military support from “Europe” is going to be paid for by Ukraine………maybe by some kind of mineral deal?
Do you have in your hand a piece of paper?

First part of video, Warburg points out one of many glaring inconsistentcies in Trump's policies:
1. He tells Ukraine they should sit down and negotiate with Russia, rather than fighting them.
2. But with the Houthi rebels having a negative effect on US trade.... Trump bombs them rather than sitting down and talking.

Davydov can be a bit long winded, but this is his doomsday scenario for Europe...if Europe does not fully help Ukraine fight Russia within Ukraine.
If Russia overruns the Ukrainian army, the two could merge (battle hardened troops and drone tech) and be turned against Europe. Davydov points out it's not impossible, as similar happened to Chechnya.
Hopefully European leaders are aware this is a future possibility.

Interesting stat from Ilya Ponomarev on Silicon Curtain chat:
"85% of casualties on the Russian side have been caused by drones. Not HIMARS, not ATACMS, not Storm Shadow, not even artillery...but drones."

I can believe that.

To use a phrase we both know and love, 'I read somewhere' that Dr. Jack Watling of the Royal United Services Institute, said that across a 15km wide area ahead of the Ukrainian front line, drones are used to take out supply trucks and other vehicles the Russians use to transport troops, kit and supplies to the front line. This was repeated a few days later, albeit up to a width of 20km, by Jake Broe.

Yep. Has happened throughout history. A conquered people and their resources get appropriated and used against the next opponent.

We often think of the Germans in their iconic Tiger tanks during WWII, but a lot of the tanks we faced on and after DDay were actually French, taken in 1940. The Third Reich was also greatly bolstered by Czech military kit amongst other things.
