[News] Russia at it again ? Litvenenko #2 ?

Equipped as I am with the Internet, and a timeline on Twitter that's full of totally woke MAGAts, I now can reveal the truth.

The so-called 'novichok' isn't Russian, it's British, straight out of Porson Downs. No connection with Russia.
This episode was actually planned by UK and other deep state actors in the Five Eyes community, to blacken the Russians before Trump's triumphant visit with Putin.
It will have the side effect of causing Trump's ground-breaking US visit to be called off given fears of his safety.
His rapturous reception by the British people must be forestalled before it appears in media all over the world.
It's all a vain attempt to keep Trump from recasting the post-war order in Europe, and causing a new dawn of peace and friendship with Russia.
It's all of a piece with deep state actors now causing Trump's path-breaking peace promotion with North Korea to fail.

The truth is out there, people....

:) Not entirely convinced about the "rapturous reception" part.

Why would the Russians attempt to kill a couple of junkies? More like a terroist perfecting his chemistry skills.
It's been widely reported that the couple involved have form for drugs but were well known bin dippers, looks like they found the discarded container from the original attack.

There was an interesting piece in The Times on Saturday. Sergei Skripal's military past may be the clue to all this. The GRU officers he betrayed to MI6 were almost all ex-Soviet army and ex-Afghan veterans like he was who would be very bitter at the betrayal. The Salisbury attack was clumsy and collateral damage didn't matter to the perpetrators. The orders didn't come from Putin, but the environment where an attack like this could take place without investigation or care from Moscow did and would be easy for ex-Soviet army comrades to source a nerve agent.

It's a very good point that if someone wanted to do it there's no way Putin's going to bat an eyelid, it also means he has plausible deniability. However, as per my reading you need to weaponise this before using it. This needs high level kit and an expert, it's also incredibly dangerous when weaponised so you wouldn't want to be carrying it around with you (which makes them smuggling it into the country in this form highly unlikely). It's far more probable that the ingredients were smuggled in and then it was created/weaponised.

That's pretty darn terrifying because it requires a decent lab with the proper kit and experts. If we have one of those in the UK which can do this for foreign agents, well, that's as scary as you can get. The other option is that we had someone smuggle in something very volatile through our customs. Neither paints a great picture.

If the toxic container was found in a rubbish bin
1. it means that the local authority are very lax in the intervals of rubbish collection or
2. the assassins kept the container for weeks before disposing of it.
Which is more likely?

Is it? That's a bit worrying, perhaps Russia should do something about that.

hmmm the bbc showed some pictures of men on the street, it must be true!!!

No, BBC are just reporting it, Police have 2 men known to the security services as Russian agents, travelling on aliases, entering at Gatwick on 2nd of March, travelling to Salisbury for reconnaissance, returning to a hotel in London where they have found traces of Novichok and then returning to salisbury on the 4th before jetting out via Heathrow that evening. Enough evidence for the CPS to charge them.

What additional evidence would you like to see exactly?!

Most people expected that Russia may have had something to do with it. It was just wrong to make baseless accusations until facts were established.

They were not baseless though, our government was quite clear that they already had the evidence as was every country with which the UK shared their intelligence with.
