Nope, Russell is the former Norwich centre half and captain. Born and bred Brightonian, and alma mater of Varndean school.

It won’t be. As if this morning, Saints hadn’t yet approached Swansea for permission to speak to RM.

He has a decent record and is a bit Potter like, in that he is interested in playing nice football, and is a "process" manager. He knows the division and has performed just above budgetary expectations mostly, so if Saints are one of the better off sides, and they should be, he has a fair chance of bringing them back up, but maybe 2nd season if he can't get the squad sorted in the summer window.
