The trouble with Evri, in my experience, is the level of service offered. I only get deliveries and some of their drivers are excellent and manage to get parcels to the front door, but others, unfortunately the majority, just dump the parcels by the gate. Amazon are the same. Our Royal Mail postie, however, is 100% reliable and conscientious. We’ve had two posties in the last 15 years and you couldn’t hope to meet a nicer couple of guys. The first one is an Albion supporter so that helped.I send a few parcels out each week using Evri (Hermes). Yeh, I lose one a they are cheap.
Had a 120 gram envelope to post so went to my Post Office. As it was bulky it didn't fit through their post box tester, and it was going to be £4.44 to send! Evri charged £2.99.
