Think I'll still give the American the benefit of the doubt. Yogaroo didn't stand out in the paddock like Jealous Again did yesterday, well grown for sure but not power-packed like she is. The trainer says Aegean is the best of them and she has form in the book which makes her better than Jealous Again, and that's good enough for me. The line from Ballydoyle is that Lilly Langtry is the best filly he's ever sent to Ascot, but that still might not be enough. The draw in 18 could be better, but Velasquez is a class apart from most of our jockeys and I'll trust him to know what to do.

The bookies make it a 2 horse race , 14/1 bar them but Aegean drawn 18 won't be easy for Velasquez to tack across from without causing havoc like he did today.

I actually fancy She's A Character to beat them both... I'll probably be wrong as usual though... :lolol:

been to 3 high street bookies and the best price i could get for cannonball on saturday was 18-1. Was the 33-1 price on line ?

I was actually thinking of a CFC and CTC with JJ The Jet Plane, Ialysos & Cannonball.

ah right ,well i wouldnt know a good from bads horse and prior to reading these threads on horse racing i went by the name (seriously) Mtoto has probably won me upwards of £80 and Trigger a bit more with thier selections so ile decrease my wager on cannonball a little,if i scratch it completely sods law it will win.

He got across from 16 no bother on Tuesday. Would also suggest it was the horse rather than the jockey who caused the problem, it was rolling around like a drunk as soon as it got tired.

He was 66-1 briefly after Jealous Again won on Wednesday, but the 33-1 dried up overnight.

Ernest is right, the value has now gone, though he may still start a fair bit shorter than even his current price if Aegean bolts up tomorrow.

Aegean was quite warm in the pre-parade, but calmed down by the time she got into the paddock. Henry Cecil's is a very nice sort, as is Sweet Sonnet.

Aegean is out to 3-1 on Betfair, will have to get involved at that price.
