Isn't it true though that most people in the 'genius' category have some kind of demons in them, which maybe contributes to the fact that they are so good. I think Ronnie O'Sullivan is almost spurred on by the fact that he has to fight 'the enemy within'

(and you can harp on all you like about Hendry, Davis, Reardon ect). He is a natural talent, and a joy to watch. It his year again! World title number 3 coming up!

isnt the maximum break technically 155?

if you do a foul (with no balls gone so far..) , and leave opponent snookered while needing a red, afaik they get to go for a colured ball as if a red (1 point), then a normal colur (black if possible 7 pints = 8 so far..)

then if you do a Ronnie and do a full cleaance of the normal 147 on top, makes a whopping 155.

i have never seen it been done though., or anyone go over 147 to think of it.. any stattos on here who can check on this?

i literally got in from the station...turned tv on and the frame has started. clearly im in GOD'S good books today.

I went to Mum's nursing home and we were watching something on her telly, then I just flipped through the remote to see what else was on - in time to witness almost the whole frame (I missed the actual break by a few seconds).

I was thinking in religious terms about that too, esp. as I wasn't even aware the matches were being played and televised at that time.
