I wish I would have put a "dont care" on option now cos it would have taken 2 seconds and now we've both wasted 2 mins of our lives we're not gonna get back

what did you click? I guess "other" is the closest to dont care

I'm still pondering it now.
MORE time I'm never gonna get back.

Is that true though? There are only 3 sides that can win it, and one of those (Arsenal) have a much smaller squad and resources than the other two.

United spent £70million on players in the last 12 months, at a time when Chelsea are cutting back on player purchases after Abramovic lost interest to a degree, (look at their signings this season, they've signed two players from........Bolton, and one from Reading).

The Premiership is no more 'tough' than the SPL in terms of being a challenge.

It is certainly tougher than Scotland, when was the last time anyone other than the Old Firm won it...not certain myself but the last time anyone came near it was Hearts in 97/98...it is probably someone like Aberdeen in the early 80's.

I would say that the Premiership is a tougher competition, being a virtual closed shop, it is very difficult for sides promoted from the Championship to compete...granted that realistically, at present, there are only 3 or 4 teams likely to win it.

people are so blinkered. its the same with every league in Europe

Spain: Barca or real madrid, valencia not close enough
Italy: Inter with ease
Germany: Bayern
Holland i think AZ won it + Ajax, Fayenoord.
France: Lyon

EVERY LEAGUE is dominated but 3 or 4 teams. WE ARE LUCKY that 4 teams are even threatning the league. Germany, france and italy are ONE TEAM leagues at the moment and spain is nowhere near as close as people think.

How many teams have won the first division/premiership since the early 80's...maybe 6 or 7, in Scotland make that 2.

Who is the fourth team?

While I don't agree with all of that it is a good post because of the point it makes. A few random teams pop up in other leagues and win it but generally most leagues are dominated by a few teams.

The thing is that approximately 75% of us, as neutrals, reckon Ronaldo is the best player in the World...surely that says something.

doing well on 3 as well, beating other

I reckon quite a few would have voted differently had the "don't care" option been there from the beginning. I would start another poll, if I could even come close to being arsed about it.

I dont think Arsenals resources are bad they have got cash to spend if they want, Its just Wenger chooses to try and do it with youngsters and not spend the cash. For that fair play to him I reckon, I think their in/out spend difference since 2004 is about 18m, Man Utds 70-80m, Chelseas 170m (rough figures I remember reading a couple of weeks ago)

arsenal have made a 20m profit

united are about 80m down

and chelsea are around the figure u stated.

Im pretty sure thats what i read.

This summer is the time(not saying it as a criticism) that Wenger needs to sign 2 world class players. The board have always said the monay is there, and they are making profits nd have the stadium in place. time to bring in...DAVID VILLA...please

I watched a feature on Ronaldo the other day and the analyst (his name escapes me) was saying how many experts get a little precious about past greats such as Best, Pele etc. The expert was argueing that Ronaldo has produced tricks, skills and goals better than the 'greats' already and wanted the footballing world to recognise it.

I thought he had quite a good point - if you put together a compilation of Peles best tricks and goals would they be as impressive as a Ronaldo montage? (as I am too young to fully appreciate Pele what do others think?)
