Not just Brighton though, its English football in general been sanitised and gentrified for the past 30 years since the Premier League made it all about money.

We’re British, not hot headed Latinos that stab, chant racist remarks, throw missiles and hold up vile banners under the guise of so called “passion” and the tacit approval of their clubs, police and politicians.

Italian fans have a very poor reputation, deservedly so. We prioritise safety and a welcoming law abiding atmosphere. I know what I prefer. Moreover, for all their passion it’s the PL teams that win the Euro trophies proving money trumps passion anyway. So let ‘em bang their drums in a fog of smoke and flares.
