Mad they can't just get a few hundred extra and then everyone will be happy. There's plenty of space in that away end

My understanding is that when you stop being a season ticket holder, all of your season ticket holder points, including the points you have accrued for holding a season ticket for consecutive seasons become member points. So presumably many of these people with a lot of member points are people who have given up their ST in recent years? That's always been my assumption at least.
I don’t think that’s the case, I had a season ticket for the first 3 seasons at the Amex then gave it up for 3 seasons due to kids and work.

I had to start from zero when I came back from the break, which makes me think the season ticket points were removed in full and the c20-30 points I had in the final year for aways and home cups was reduced byv50% x3

My feeling is that whoever allowed that person to just jump in without registering should be hauled over the coals. It's makes a mockery of the process. And I agree with you that if people should be allowed to jump in having forgotten to register, there needs to be consistency over how it's done.

They 100% let people who’d missed the pre-reg deadline for Ajax do so afterwards, with the proviso that they would be one tier lower than their natural position.

Seems poor form if they didn’t do the same here.

When you gave up your season ticket, did you take up MA+, or was it a clean break?

Fair play to me it seems like going to the warm up party and then missing the main. event.
Sounds to me like a mini break and bumping in to people you share common ground with. I accidentally went to London on the day of the Euro Finals. I can safely say that the atmosphere around London Bridge was more memorable and fun than the Tower of London. (y)

I agree with you, I couldn’t be arsed to travel overseas and then not watch the match.
Do people go to places like Anfield / Old Trafford and then not go in because they haven’t got a ticket? :lolol:
But there’s a different class of ruins to visit.

What's weird is that every time I refresh the away tickets page on the club website, I'm put in a queue, even though my purchase window is noon tomorrow. The first time this happened, I thought, Hey, I'm gonna get a ticket! Shoulda known better, lol
