I really enjoyed it. Not meant to be a comedy, just filling in some of the story of key characters, Rodney's dad etc.

Joan Trotter was also played by the gorgeous actress that used to play the daughter in the upper hand - Wickerrrd.

I thought it was meant to be a comedy.

And exactly what were the drugs supposed to be? Amphetamines? Why did nobody take any notice of the boy who collapsed after taking some?

as a massive Only Fools fan it was shocking, i hope they bury the reel and dont show it again, we all knew everything what they showed anyway

Think it was created as a drama rather than comedy. Found it interesting.

THIS IS A RANT!

This was going to always be a comedy drama, some of you people were expecting the same thing as OFAH. But this was completely different from start to finish. It was never mean't to be all about Del Boy! It was always going to be about his family and them meeting Freddy Robdal! You lot need to watch them all over again and find out comparision with how Rodney is and how Robdal was, they're there watch it again if you don't f***ing believe me. There was even a reference of Pam Smith. If you remember back when Rodders was dating her daughter, and Del thought it was his bloody daughter which it wasn't, it was Alfie Littlewoods daughter. Roy Slater in the pond reference was made, in the "hooky" oven episode. I can carry on if you want me to, because i thought it was BRILLANT!

Rant over!

Purple hearts, as mentioned by Del a few times in episodes.

Right, I am going to sound very patronising here but if you REALLY know OFAH inside out then it was really good. You got to meet Jumbo Mills who moved to Oz, Alby Littlewood who later dies trying to cross the railway tracks.

You also meet Reeny (as played by Joan Simms in the key episode where rodney works out Reg is not his father). The relationship between Reg and Grandad was also well played as it is similar to the episode where Reg does make an appearance but is an arsehole.

It also had Charlotte bigtits in it from the inbetweeners so what is not to like? :)

Good drama. Wasn't meant to be funny. Apart from..... Minge, I'm looking for Minge. It's Ming, it's Chinese. Cock!.... Cook.

Sense at last. Thank the lord!

SPOT ON. I think this one off has shown the 'true' obsessional fans away from those that just like it.

It was not meant to be a comedy, and obviously it was not. Some good links to the series in there, but I wasn't overly impressed by it
