Hilarious character. Universally liked. Always a shame when we hear such things.

It seems that the more comic geniuses devote themselves to the joy of others, the more they lose themselves.

RIP

Nanu Nanu.

Wasnt a fan of his brand of comedy but the depression that seems to have claimed him is a terrible disease, you'd just somehow hope that because it's happened to someone so high profile that his story might help so many unknown others in similar situations to get help

Even if you thought that, was there any point in saying it?

RIP

Yes. I was compelled to, by the pre-qualification that the term Genius is overused, and was then used in an instance to describe a man that did funny voices and spoke fast, or sometimes in slow motion.

Why would you even take the time to write that down on a thread that is clearly going to celebrate the life and work of someone. Time and place.

Utterly shocked. Nanu Nanu to one of the best comedy geniuses to have graced our Earth.

RIP Robin.

My two favourite roles of his are about as far removed from each other as can be - the Genie in "Aladdin" and John Keating in "Dead Poets Society", yet both are brilliant in such different ways. Just shows the talent that he possessed.
