The word "Legend" is over-used now and seems to be applied to anyone who's played for the same team for a while. RMJ is a decent all-rounder, no more and no less. He's had a good season this year, but never really fulfilled his potential throughout his career as a whole.

What a nasty & sour post. RMJ was rather more than a 'decent all-rounder'. I would say he was a key player in the amazing Golden Era that Sussex have had since 2003 and one I suspect we will miss quite a lot in the next few years unless/until Rayner steps into his boots. Good luck to him and Sussex in the future
