Gutted he's going but if its has to happen glad its on our terms.

My guess it that RDZ's demands were too much for Tony, and knowing this would mean a decent job offer would temp him away, Tony has then decided that we'll end things now, on our terms, with plenty of time to find a successor. Rather than wait for the inevitable to come later in the summer. Sound about right?

If he’s not got his heart in it then see you later and thanks for the memories.

Going to be interesting to see where he ends up next.... Munich are still looking, but I can not see him jumping to that level?

Juve maybe?

He's insisted that he gets the same level of team he had last season. That can't be guaranteed, so it's a parting of the ways. At least it's decided now and not in August.

obvious in recent months he didn’t really want to be here. what’s bizarre is the recent media pieces were angled towards him staying. naylor’s article yesterday that he was ‘adamant’ about staying, saying he wanted lallana to sign for another year, taking about what positions he wanted to recruit in the summer. very strange.

sad news really as we all know what the team was capable of under RDZ. working assumption has to be that there was conversations about what the club were doing in the summer transfer-wise and once again he and bloom were miles apart

Just far enough away from LDC
I won't be echoing comments like good riddance. Sometimes people's strengths are also their weaknesses. What made him great for us last season will be the reason why he may not be great for us over the summer.

I am grateful for all we did achieve with him here

Shameful by the club, whose limitations of ambition have been fully exposed by RDZ. Buy cheap, give the fans two seasons entertainment, sell on at a stonking profit. Rinse, repeat, rejoice at the operating profit. Hurrah! (said nobody other than an accountant ever)

LET'S ALL STAY BEHIND ON SUNDAY AND GIVE RDZ THE HERO'S FAREWELL HE SO RICHLY DESERVES

I’m actually staggered. But I’m pleased that, unlike Hughton, we get a chance to say goodbye.
