Depends. If they have a left footed RW who likes to cut inside, it is often easier to defend against if you're a right footed LB.

He said because we move the ball so much quicker in attack, opponents haven’t the time to get set up (as they often had previously). Attack, attack, attack.

It's early days yet. We scored 3 against Liverpool, but he'd only just joined, so how much was down to him? Nothing against Spurs, Brentford and Forest, 1 against City.

Today was a cup game against Arsenal's reserves, so again it's difficult to take much from that.

That leaves us 2 good results - Chelsea and Wolves. And it's not like we'd not scored before, we got 5 (should be 6, but for a VAR mistake) in Potter's last game.

2 good results. But much better performances imho.

Still need to work tactically on teams who play a low block. Always a frustration.

This. You can just see as a player he’s the sort of manager you’d want to give everything for. Not only is he so passionate and infectious you can see the high standards he has too.

Not sure you can say the same with Potter.

Tony said he was blown away by how much analysis he had performed on the squad and RDZ clearly had a clear vision and idea of what he wanted to change from Potters system. The fact he has implemented that so quickly and everyone is so onboard (look how Lallana face lights up when he talks about RDZ in training) is seriously impressive. We are now moving the ball so much faster from back to front scoring freely and the team look more United than ever.

Add to that his passion, recognition of the fans and belief in how much this club and squad can improve and this appointment already looks like a serious upgrade.

Potter was given a new contract in November 2019, the link to the Spurs job was over the summer of 2021 so it wasn’t connected.
