I don’t mind if they keep Cucu.Chelsea looking to do a swap with their present incumbent and chucking in 30m as well to sweeten it
Switching . . . . Something CH did . . . Effective in attack. AK/SMGood but fully expected win.
Interesting idea with Lamptey as left-back, wouldn't be surprised to see more of that.
Depends. If they have a left footed RW who likes to cut inside, it is often easier to defend against if you're a right footed LB.Switching . . . . Something CH did . . . Effective in attack. AK/SM
not sure how well LAmptey would fare against top wingers on his wrong side defensively
Utter bollocks. No!Was Potter underachieving this entire time? Was it the squad that was carrying Potter all along?
It's early days yet. We scored 3 against Liverpool, but he'd only just joined, so how much was down to him? Nothing against Spurs, Brentford and Forest, 1 against City.Warren Aspinall was just asked why we’re so free scoring under RDZ.
He said because we move the ball so much quicker in attack, opponents haven’t the time to get set up (as they often had previously). Attack, attack, attack.
Was just thinking the same……if only to have the ‘rinse Chelsea’ clause inserted. We offered Potter a new contract very early on, I wonder if RDZ will be offered something similar if he keeps this up?
2 good results. But much better performances imho. It's early days yet. We scored 3 against Liverpool, but he'd only just joined, so how much was down to him? Nothing against Spurs, Brentford and Forest, 1 against City.
Today was a cup game against Arsenal's reserves, so again it's difficult to take much from that.
That leaves us 2 good results - Chelsea and Wolves. And it's not like we'd not scored before, we got 5 (should be 6, but for a VAR mistake) in Potter's last game.
By the time the match finished, Arsenal had played Martenelli, Jesus, Xhaka etcIt's early days yet. We scored 3 against Liverpool, but he'd only just joined, so how much was down to him? Nothing against Spurs, Brentford and Forest, 1 against City.

For those who go home and away, fair comment?
This. You can just see as a player he’s the sort of manager you’d want to give everything for. Not only is he so passionate and infectious you can see the high standards he has too.I just love the way he talks about his players, his team, and how passionate he is. He isn't getting carried away wants improvement and expects improvement from each and every game. The players from regulars to fringe seem to just enjoy the attacking style and have been given freedom.
Though thinking back was that prompted by Tottenham rumours? Perhaps we got it right first time on appointment. Was just thinking the same……if only to have the ‘rinse Chelsea’ clause inserted.
Potter was given a new contract in November 2019, the link to the Spurs job was over the summer of 2021 so it wasn’t connected.Though thinking back was that prompted by Tottenham rumours? Perhaps we got it right first time on appointment.
