Interesting, but my main conclusion from that is the writer fancies himself as far more of a literary talent than he actually is.

Indeed - try this "De Zerbi’s strategy transcends mere functionality as his tactical approach provokes us to question even our most deep-seated footballing beliefs."

Blimey, I thought the aim was to score more goals than the oppo; 60 years of false belief; I/m ruined.

Well, I DO know the difference between a giant ant and a giant maggot. I was just wondering aloud which it was that upset Sarah Jane so.

Neither, it was giant flies that terrified Sarah Jane, and then she was possessed by a giant spider.

A bit of money for him on the Betfair exchange, making him the current favourite. A very thin market though - https://www.betfair.com/exchange/pl...fKQXYpWxw/AkOYiSC1XdexFjMnqOkKRRn20n6v4AusuCR

Probably attracted some betting interest after this article: https://www.calciomercato.com/news/brighton-de-zerbi-il-futuro-e-aperto-71952

"Among the names at the top of the Brighton wish list is also that of Roberto De Zerbi, with whom there have been contacts in recent days. First approaches, which have not yet led to an agreement"

Apparently Juventus are interested in Roberto De Zerbi as a replacement for Allegri. Can't see us beating them to him, if that's true. Though at the moment I suspect it might just be social media chatter (apparently their fans on social media want Allegri out and De Zerbi in, which I can imagine is enough for some lazy journos to pen stories like this one)

According to Italian media no approach has been made by Juventus.

Across all betting sites haise is favourite. That article is saying nothing new, an Italian reporter already said on Sunday that zerbi had been approached and this is what it's referencing.

Haise fave.....
