Why don’t you like driving?

I will try and explain....it doesn’t come naturally to me and I find I have to really concentrate a lot. And spending long periods concentrating like this isn’t fun and is quite tiring for me. I learnt to drive when I was in my late 20s...maybe this played a part? My personal circumstances mean I can get away without needing one. On the rare occasion I do, I hire. Although there was a period 15 years or so ago when I needed wheels for a couple of years to get to work. If things changed maybe I’d have to overcome this dislike.

Just the syntax of that Argus report is far worse than any crime you'll see in the video.

"He grew up in Scotland but works for car mechanic firm Westbourne Motors in the town" - gee, thanks for then life history.
"The bald 54 year old appeared in Brighton Magistrates Court" - I literally laughed out loud at that.

If it wasn't the summer holidays, I'd assume it was work experience week at Argus HQ.

I barely know anyone in Burgess Hill that HASN'T seen the clip. My brother in law in Basingstoke sent me a copy just in case................

The victim (and the alleged attempted murderer I guess) was bloody lucky there was a hedge in front of him and not a brick wall.

Probably irrelevant how many in Mid Sussex have seen it as the case won't be heard in Burgess Hill. Possibly Lewes or Brighton.

Almost certainly Lewes. Brighton doesn't have a crown court (although Hove does) and attempted murder is too serious an offence for a beak to hear. Cases like this are usually Lewes's domain

That wasn’t really the point I was making...more the general availability of the clip.....but since you mention that now, where do you think the towns Lewes juries include people from ?

The magistrates courts in Brighton can be turned into a ‘Crown’ Court but under the auspices of Lewes. It could end up at the Old Bailey, Canterbury or Guildford.
