So we should censor people for censoring people. I like it.
I will censor anyone pointing out that censoring people censoring others may be hypocrisy.

It makes cens

If we're lucky, we might get an 'RIP Mustafa II' thread. Swiftly followed by the appearance of Mustafa III as a new NSC member, of course.

People die every day, such is life.

But this is a BHA fan site - do we really need to RIP any old formerly semi-famous person who has died of old age?

I genuinely have no idea who any of these people are.

Agreed. Same with minutes applause and minutes silence, only one occasion for that, and it's the ever so important Remembrance Day. I don't bother clapping tbh, unless it was someone of REAL significance. No offence, like.

Scroll past. Or if they’re annoying you being bounced, pop them on ignore.

Don’t start another thread just to have a moan. The irony seems completely lost on you.

This thread has added absolutely nothing. A waste of bandwidth, a waste of wear and tear on your keyboard/phone screen.

People make RIP posts to share memories of someone who has passed. If it was someone you deemed “worthy” of a thread, you wouldn’t be complaining.

USE THE IGNORE THREAD FUNCTION, and for once stop making everything about yourself

Worse than that, it’s like Groundhog Day.

I’m not reading it on principle.

I wonder if Bozza would consider adding RIP to the prefix’s? This would help us all filter the RIP threads from the less important stuff?

My boss’ elderly Irish mother now lives in the UK but fills her day watching live-streamed funerals from Ireland, ffs

A woman who used to work for me had an Italian mother and I heard her on the phone to her mother for ages one morning. After she had finished I went over to ask if everything was OK ?

"It's just that she has to go to a funeral tomorrow"
"Someone close ?" I asked
"No, hardly knows the woman, just loves a good wail"

Where's the problem? Occasionally add a comment if the departed was someone you knew of and liked, or more often just a sympathetic emoji. Never heard of them? - Google it, then delete thread; if it's to do with something of complete uninterest - American footballers, baseball players, WWE geezers for example - just delete the thread anyway, job done.
Repeat - where's the problem?

Thanks for posting. I had missed that Sam Moore had died. A soul icon. Sorry to hear your life is so cloistered that you haven't heard of any of this rich variety of people no longer with us.

Not in Whitechapel
They are self moderating, they all drop off the front page at rates dependent on their popularity.

Why the OP cares so much is anyone's guess. I think it's more about moaning about and flouncing off NSC than anything else.

I don’t think the OP does care that much. I think he’s just a loser absolutely desperate for attention who saw a chance to make something else all about him.

If Mustafa does not know who Linda Nolan or Sam Moore were , then I pity him for missing some great music in his life .
Sometimes I don’t know the subject. I either leave it alone or read it and learn something, that is the benefit of discussion. Keep them coming.
To be fair, if someone just said Sam Moore I'd have to Google it - but Sam of Sam'n'Dave, yeh, certainly knew who he was.

Indeed. Pity the poor unfortunate soul who missed out on all those timeless Nolan Sisters classics

They should all be put in the dead centre of NSC.

I’ve always wondered if dead people have soles and go to a plaice in the sky or it’s all just pollocks and once you flounder, the undertaker gets a few squid when you croak and er, there’s no cod at all.
