As did Ronnie & Reggie,, (their mum of course, not Terry Boyle's).

Thank you, I'm not sure anyone would have got the reference if you hadn't spelt it out for us
He couldn't have been out long. He got four years for the cannabis farm in 2017.
Another local old school knocker boy died fairly recently. Forgotten his first name, possibly Jack. Surname Collins. Always wore a fedora hat and crombie. Had a small shop in Hangleton. Related to Lee Collins another local knocker boy with a chequered (not so distant) past.
Bert?
Very good point HBZ, he was a character, I was proud to count him as a friend, so as my dear old Mum used to say, re this thread, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
You may have called this person a friend but he spent a lot of his life on the wrong side off the law. Hopefully none of my friends have swindled OAPs. Totally fair to comment, even though he has died.
QUOTE=sams dad;9341800]I doubt that you would be lamenting his death if one of your elderly relatives had been conned out of their valuables for a fraction of their true worth. The knocker boys might have been “characters “, but they had no scruples, no morals, and no conscience.
Perhaps you should choose your friends more carefully.
Did you vote for Ivor Caplin?
You’re so lucky to have such a wonderful friends group, are the Vienna Boys Choir still touring?
Seriously Clive, none of us are perfect, the man’s dead, frankly you should show a little bit more respect.
I used to wash his car as a kid when he lived down the road from me in Coldean. His was the first to have a swimming pool in the garden (knowing Coldean, it probably still is!) and my sister and I used to have a great time in it with his kids.
An old school knocker boy, he was constantly 'away' when we were growing up but, as the OP says, he was a huge Albion fan and will be sadly missed.
RIP Terry.
WTF does that mean?
