Cheshire Cat
The most curious thing..
Possibly Solly March (with added moustache)Started going in 1989 so never saw him play. For those that did, which current Albion player would you compare him to?

I think the majority of today’s players are at a different level to Gerry, but I think @Cheshire Cat called it correctly IMO.Started going in 1989 so never saw him play. For those that did, which current Albion player would you compare him to?
Teddy old love it is a game of opinions, but he's in my top 50 every day of the week IMHOGood player, but not sure he’d be in the top 50, and not ‘comfortably’.
Interesting question though.
Good piece though @Lenny Rider - I’d almost forgotten the Forest goal….
On his day he was unstoppable. Eg his home debut he was unbelievable. In my opinion, not at the level of say Ward, Horton and Lawrenson of that era but very close. Scored some very important goals for us as well.Teddy old love it is a game of opinions, but he's in my top 50 every day of the week IMHO
Of course it is. As I said an interesting debate, would be good to see who was in yours.Teddy old love it is a game of opinions, but he's in my top 50 every day of the week IMHO
Let's hope so.Have the club said whether they are planning to do anything on Thursday to mark Gerry's passing?
