I was lucky enough to see C&D a couple of years ago at Concorde 2 and it was a brilliant gig. Great musicians, a big loss for British music.

There's a very lengthy, excellent obituary of Chas today in The Times. It ends with this:

On the afternoon that his death was announced, Tottenham Hotspur won 2-1 at Brighton with their fans singing a paean to Hodges as “one of our own”.
