Wow.

I grew up on a TV diet of The Young Ones and Bottom. The first time I saw the Lord Flash bit of Blackadder I was literally crying with laughter. In fact I was still laughing about it the next day.

An absolute genius of a comic actor gone far, far too early. Gutted.

Wow

Almost everything I laughed at when growing up was down to him, from Kevin Turvey to Young Ones to Bottom to New Statesmen to Catflap to Comic Strip, even reading George's Marvellous Medicine on Jackanory. Check out him singing his version of "I'm Evil"

I would say RIP, but doesn't seem his style, I'll wave him off with a couple of V signs and a giggle.

Wonderful comedian, and by all accounts, universally liked as a person. R.I.P.

RIP Rik; A fistful of Travellers Cheques from the Comic Strip. Genius.
