Hither (sometimes Thither)
I had a couple of leafets through the door. I didn't really read any, but i had to tear the BNP one up and act like i was hard by doing it in front of anyone who might have been hiding in a nearby bush. I hope if i ever meet a BNPer and look to undermine their arseholey racist thoughts they are unkung-fu trained and about 4ft 7, someone i could pop into a suitcase when they least expected it.
Another one i got sought to de-BNP the area with their help. "If you don't like the BNP and want our help, then vote Christian." "Jesus Christ", i muttered mentally, "i wouldn't mind being there to witness that wrestle-off." I'd be disbelievingly on the side of the Christians, but would snigger when they got clotheslined by a jackbooted simpleton once in a while.
I'm going Greeny.

I honestly have no idea who Im going to vote for!

I fancy making a serious vote this time rather than a 'joke' one like BNP or UKIP like before.

Can anyone tell me who the best is to vote for in the Southwick area?

Are you taking the mick?

Voting for the BNP is no joke and as for asking who is best to vote for...

I'm voting for change, and that is the Conservatives.

Proof that if you say something often enough, some people will believe it

I will vote Lib Dem in the locals as I know the guy standing and I think he'd do a good job. Not sure about Europe, will either be Green or Lib Dem again.

As others have said I've been massively disappointed at the lack of campaigning there seems to have been locally in this election. I've had one leaflet through my door, and that was from the BNP.

I will be voting this evening - and I do not know at this moment who I will be voting for. I will see who is on the ballot paper.

But it won't be for any party whose leader denied the holocaust for political expediency.

the greens are against stem cell research, they are f***ing cave dwellers.

Any actual evidence for that? (the stem cell research bit rather than the estate agents dream).

Never a truer word spoken in jest... If we have to rely on wind energy in the future we'll only have electricity for 3 months of the year. Better start stocking up on candles.

They're a little bit smarter than that...

[I[COLOR="Blue"]]"• A massive investment in renewable sources to support development of both large-scale wind and tidal generation and domestic micro-generation - together these measures would create 80,000 jobs in the first year.
• Retrofitting energy efficiency measures to homes, schools and hospitals to reduce total energy consumption and create a further 80,000 jobs.

In the EU, we will advocate for:

• Europe-wide renewable energy initiatives such as an under-sea grid for off-shore wind and marine power, concentrated solar power plants in Southern Europe and the North African deserts and the building of highly efficient long-distance High Voltage DC power lines.
• The phasing out of dangerous nuclear power.
• The removal of incentives for damaging large scale bio-fuels.
• Removal of any EU rules that prevent direct government help to renewables.
• Abolishing VAT on energy-efficient improvements to properties.
• Higher energy-efficiency standards for appliances sold in the EU with better energy labeling.
• Shifting EU subsidies and support for research and development from nuclear and fossil fuels to the renewable energy sector

The point about voting green, for me, is that A) they aren't going to get in complete control and be able to push all their campaigns successfully but B) by voting green you are telling the larger popular parties that green issues are something that people believe in which hopefully increases the amount of green plans put forward. And climate change is a serious threat to this planet.
