So if Revell and Bertin are out and I understand so is Mayo (although many people will be happy with that), God alone knows what team DW will put out. Dread to think who will be on the bench. Bet its not Gary Hart though.

Tranmere will be without midfield pair John Mullin and Jason McAteer through suspension following their red cards against Blackpool. Also missing for Rovers are Paul McLaren and John Achterberg, although John Thompson could return following a knee injury.
Brighton's Guy Butters and Dean Cox could return having both been rested for the match against Doncaster. Striker Alex Revell picked up a knock but should be fit.

If you are saying good that Mullin and McAteer are missing for Tranmere then I might tend to agree, but not that we will be missing Bertie and Reveldinho.

I spoke to Bertin at the kit sponsor's do. What seems apparent is that he is NOT returning to Le Havre - he wants to play in England. He is very happy in Brighton, although his missus doesn't like the constant to-ing and fro-ing from Brighton to Le Havre. I think he wants to settle in England. He doesn't believe he is good enough for the Premiership, but is good enough for the Championship.
Reading between the lines - though he didn't actually say this - I reckon he is going to take a punt on trying to get a Championship club, and if nothing comes of it, he will stay here.

We have had a few players over the past season who have on the face of it been a little too good for the level they find themselves playing at, McShane last season and Bertin this time out. I think the best thing is to enjoy them while you can and wish them well when they go on to better things elsewhere, Paul McShane is guaranteed a place in Albion folklore for getting a winner at Palace, if nothing else.
