Another one. At the risk of asking the obvious, I'm 85% sure it is Maybank - but Paul Clark had similarish hair. So is this Maybank?

That looks more like Clark to me - look at the thighs on him - although I don't remember him with a perm like that.

1st August 1979: The Brighton football team, (back row, from left) Giles Stille, Teddy Maybank, Malcolm Poskett, Gary Williams, Mike Kerslake and Gerry Ryan, (middle row, from left) Steve Foster, Andy Rollings, Graham Moseley, Eric Steele, Martin Chivers, Mark Lawrenson and John Gregory, (front row, from left) Paul Clark, Peter Sayer, Brian Horton, Peter O'Sullivan and Peter Ward.

OK I'm coming round to Towner for top right. Lawrenson always seems to have had a tache at that time.
STH and away matches at that time and they partied at the club I was a member of at that time. :smokin:

Clark has a rounder face but Im not sure I remember Maybank with those sideburns. Clark was a hairy monster.

The picture is from the front of an albion publication. I can definitely say they include Gary Williams, Tony Towner and John Ruggerio.

From your 1st post there is, i believe, another Albion player there, although he's not wearing the stripes at that time.

Anyone?

Yes it's Peter Suddaby.

Good to see the board man too. I did ask if i could do that on the last game of last season (also my birthday) but 'elf & safety done for me. Shame. Wonder if we'll still have the board man at Falmer?

Oh yeah, and how about this one...

I always thought it was Lawrenson but might it be two-goal hero Ray Clarke? This is from the game v Man City in December 1979....
