Stunning smoked haddock soup starter and best potato gratin I've EVER had. It's not cheap but worth every penny.

ridda - what makes it better ? I would say that MoshiMoshi looks a bit like a canteen.

I`m not starting an arguement TLO but the last 2 times I`ve been their I have found it very very ordinary. There is more to Spanish tapas than just garlic.

Was there a size related toilet disagreement ?

I would commend Room For Living in sunny Worthing.. top end scoff and good service

Garlic features quite sparingly in Spanish cooking, I've found.

Never been rushed out, always had a good meal, always been treated very well, and always had a free drink.

I also take my cue from the number of Spanish people I know who've eaten there stating its authenticity as opposed to say, La Tasca.

Sorry, it's not to your liking, but I'd heartily recommend it to anyone.

Bit of a contentious one but Hotel Du Vin really is good.

Why contentious? I'd say Hotel Du Vin was an excellent choice. It's a class act.

Went to Oki - Nami in new road the other week, best Japanese meal i have ever had.

I'll second this. I used to go to the Church Road one, they have a history of great japanese food. It's great food in a good building and a nice location. It will be special.

Also, as an aside. I find I am able to drink japanese lager at an amazing speed. It just glides down the hatch.

On a serious note some of the best restaurants I have ever visited where in New York.

and whats wrong with Pheasant stock............ mmm yummy.

I'll second this. I used to go to the Church Road one, they have a history of great japanese food. It's great food in a good building and a nice location. It will be special.

how goods the building ?.. I know we are based on a craton but I do worry ...if the Fugu does not get you the tiles will ?
