Just some advice...

1. How about a picture of the signed page. (You always swerve these requests when made for similar stuff - I have no idea why. You can get a photo on here in about 30 seconds from your phone). Pictures ALWAYS help.
2. What is the end date and time of the auction?
3. Will you keep this thread abreast of the two winning bids at regular occasions to encourage bids?

(It's 'Mad Man', not 'Madman')

Has to be said that it does seem like an odd kind of auction. DK has been running around like a MADMAN trying to flog his book and signing copies to all and sundry in the last week or two. Auction appears to my untrained eye unlikely to spark a bidding frenzy despite the very best intentions of the book donor and the auctioneer and genuine total respect to both of them for doing that. However, as a would-be buyer... auctions thrive on rarity. Even the Barca full squad shirt auction fell flat the minute the same bloke posted a second one on here a week after the first one. sadly, Merry prankster probably got it it spot on when he said suggested that unsigned copies might be rarer

Fair enough Uncle. And total respect for doing so. :clap2:

Some people are eager for a flounce it seems. Most odd. It is not going to happen. Thanks mate.

But there are only two in the world signed by the person who did the punctuation and kept it under 1,000 pages.

I've just finished reading it and am a bit underwhelmed tbh. Some of the later stuff (ie post Falmer approval), particularly on the plans for stadium financing pre-credit crunch, and TB's role then and since doesn't stack up in my opinion.

But you'll be the first to admit that, as you did science at school, you really only know about books full of formulae, chemical symbols and difficult sums.
