Did you get through? If you specifically ask for Family Stand they may have some; remember these are only available to people with children so won't be available to the general hordes. 2 adults per kid

I must've dialled the number about 100 times whilst spamming the mouse button on website. Busy every time. Nothing to show for it apart from aching fingers and thumbs. lol

UPDATE: Just rang again, and the automated message has changed to "Liverpool game sold out. Customer enquiries please ring blahblahblah"

Yeah my only problem with this is that there was nothing between 60 points and any purchase history, I've got 40 points and feel a tad peeved that that gets me absolutely nothing at all.

Feels pretty logical for there to be a 30 point stage inbetwen, especially at this early stage of the season where 60 points is practically every game.

Oh well, guess this is all part and parcel of our success now, and I'm a lot happier for it, don't want to moan too much.

We all know the site can't be perfect but for the bigger games (regardless of what competition it is) we really should be doing a sliding scale of point holders get an allocated time to purchase tickets. Great we did the 60 points, but then it should of been 40 and 20 before it was opened up to everyone.

Yes but those with 10-20 points won't get tickets. It should be that everyone has a chance at tickets, so there should always be a period when anyone can buy. I'd say after half the season when people have points, then it should go 100 points/ then 50/ then 20/ then others. Not till most have had time to accumulate points though.

Annoyingly, if I'd bought a ticket for Sunderland rather than using someones ST, I'd have 60 points.

I gather you went to these and you got over 60 points and so you got tickets. Some peoples lives, because or jobs, family commitments and money mean they cant go to loads of matches. Fans like that have been frozen out for years, i'm glad the club aren't doing that. yet.

Excellent, thats the way it should be that even thoughs with low points, should be able to get a chance at getting to every game. At about the half way stage in the season, they should only sell to fans that have bought this season.

Anyway, its sold now. So just justifies the need for expasion or the stadium and a decent ticket exchange.

Exactly - life is about choices. No good blaming other people all the time. Well said Somerset.

THIS.

Yeah, I agree with you. The points will take time to settle down; its still early days. If you had a 30 point cut-off then a closed-shop is really being created, the one that some people are moaning about

Of course 60 points wasn't that hard, Gillingham and Sunderland would net someone 40 straight off, and neither of those games sold out, add Peterborough and Leeds and that's another 20 points and those games both took 2 or 3 days to sell out once on general sale. So that's 60 points that anyone could have got if they wanted.
