So it is up to you if you want to find him. If you don't well, fine. He won't force you.

Good, as long as he ain't pushy. I don't like pushy people.

Where can i find him, does he go round the churches or 'garages' as you call them doing talks or does somebody do it for him?

I've always thought the Sikh religion to be the best.

What do YOU think is the best religion?

Buddism no doubt. When did the Buddists ever start a war ? Anyway, it's a philosphy as much as a religion and is far heatier for it. Allmost a dogma free zone.

No, sorry Yorkie, you just think that this image 'God' as you like to call him has helped you. There's no tangable proof of any enity be it 'God', 'Allah' or any other mythical diety. It just makes your life more convenient to have this fabled being.

The tragedy is that all the followers of of any religion have to wait until they die to find out that they're been duped.

Next time I see you ask me about the miracles that have occurred in my life.

Far too many to be coincidences. Instant healing from smoking for example with no withdrawal symptons at all.

I thnk the best religions are those that accept all kinds. Not all of them do, the Sikhs let everyone eat food at their temples. That is BRILLIANT:ohmy:

For faith read trust. Putting your trust in God. Believing that he is what he says he is.

He/She/It doesn't say anything.....

To find out who he is read the Bible. I am not saying go to church as going to church no more makes you a Christian than going to a garage makes you a car.

The bible is a book of fairy tales, nothing more. Since there is no proof that it is the "divine word of god" you just as well off reading a Haynes manual for a '92 Ford Escort as far as finding out who god is.

You can lead a christian to water, but you can't make them think.

There are also atheists. IIRC, they believe in reincarnation until you reach Nivrana, but no god as such.

Okay guys you can pot away .... I'll post my experience on here a wee bit later as I have it saved on my home hard drive ... I wrote it for publication about three years ago ....
I think any sprititual experience is personal ....
I'll leave you with one thought ....
You can't smell electricity
You can't see electricity
You can't hear electricity
But if you put your fingers into an electrical socket .... you can feel it

I'll post later when I get home ...

Meaningless jibberish. Electricity exists, it has measurable and observable effects in the real world.

But God doesn't power my tv, electricity does and for that i am eternally grateful.

I hope He announces Himself soon. I wouldn't want to accidentally stick my fingers in His socket.

The thing is we do have instruments that can read electricity. You may respond that the human heart is the meter which reads His wisdom, but that just ain't it.

I love these little lines they have had over 2000 years to think up though, just to make us non believers feel really, really stupid. :lolol:

As I said before I have had things happen in my life that I know were from God.

Out of interest how many people here have actually read the Bible?

Buy one £4.99 from WH Smith and read it. Then you can make an informed decision.

I have never ever called a non believer stupid. I don't see any of the believers here saying anyone is stupid either.

Get Catch 22 instead. It's a much better read.

Really ? I just decided to stop smoking one day about 15 years ago and haven't had one since. The only downside is that I can't smoke joints as the make me sick. I wouldn't describe that as a miracle, just good luck.

Anyway, if tobacco is so bad the why did our creator let us find it ?
