Expected goals aren't worth jack if you don't have someone to make them into actual goals. Easily the most pointless stat in sport.

Why is it useless to gain some insight into the quality of chances a team is creating and how good they are at taking them? For you as a fan it might not mean a lot but the value for those working in the game is pretty obvious, isn't it?

Realistically, I think we're only really a left back away from completing the squad. Andone is the additional attacking option we have this season but didn't have last season. We have a proper goalkeeper now, although there are still question marks over the second choice behind Sanchez.

I don't think we'll be in the bottom third this season and it will be a real underperformance if we are. Plenty of squads look a lot, lot weaker than ours.

Us, Wolves, Brentford, Norwich, Palace, Burnley, Newcastle, Southampton and Watford will be in a tight nine way battle against relegation. Or not. Who knows? We could finish anywhere between 12th and 20th.

Trying to predict anything now is pointless, and it is pointless thinking about who predicts what.

Danny Mills just applies the usual formula for uninformed pundits. High profile players out >High profile players in = relegation trouble. High profile players in > high profile players out = Europe here we come!

who you saying then?
Is that not enough for you?

You can throw a blanket over the usual fodder.
I'm saying it could be any of them (us) as this year as the usual safety net won't be in place.

Mr Bloom says it won't be his team.
In Mr Bloom I trust.

Danny Mills hates us dating from about the moment Mr Bloom told Leeds they couldn't have Ben White. He rubbishes Potter and the players at every opportunity and probably thinks the pebbles on the beach are the wrong shape too. Bitter, petulant, ignorant, waste of space. I do not think much of him by the way.

Well Danny Mills is never wrong is he....we are doomed!

If I'm being honest I don't really know who Danny Mills is, way before my time and only hear him on talksport so unsure whether to value his opinion or not. I'm guessing not judging by the replies :lolol:

I know this will be controversial, but I think we have enough up front to go with what we've got. If we sign some one, fine, but I won't wail from the top of the stairs if we don't.

Could you please drop a link?

Too lazy but The Guardian one in the Season Reviews thread and FourFourTwo both predict 12th for us. Personally I think we'll be slightly better than last season so maybe 15th or 14th.

*EDIT* See Bakero linked the Guardian one few posts before this..

Danny Mills is a troll and has been since Leeds failed to sign Ben White permanently. Another very bitter Leeds fan, best laughed at

Same as last season at the moment. Relegation battle and some good football

Lot will depend on how good Watford , Brentford and Norwich are

Need a couple more quality signings if want to push on a bit

Got a mate who was a STH at Liverpool and Fulham....says Danny Mills is shitehouse and doesn't know what he's talking about!

I think you're getting your Dannys mixed up. We're talking about Mills, not Murphy (TBF, I occasionally get the confused too).

The latter is a pretty decent pundit, IMO. The former is a bit of a chancer to doesn't really know a lot and just chucks in a pro-Leeds line here and there when the opportunity arises (which is almost always).

I can think of a few NScers who will book a flight to Israel and stand here, joining in the wailing if we don’t sign a top quality striker by the close of the window.

As it stands we have sold White and Lamptey, Webster, Dunk and Welbeck are injured.
We need a very good couple of weeks on and off the field.
