I pity the "Studio Audience", word has it it was played "before" a live audience and that the laughter was not canned or forced. I can only assume that the audience had several machine guns pointing at them or that they had been told if they underperform they would then end up as the audience to The life Of Riley.... either way I think they ceased to be a live audience and I envy them.... better to die on your feet than to live on your knees..

I watched 30 secs of it the other night and heard the 'laughter' - that was NEVER live, was it? Unbelievable, shocking stuff.
